Upper School Math Teacher (Starting August 2026)

About the role

Saint George School, a British International school in Santo Domingo, is seeking an Upper School Math Teacher to begin in August 2026. The successful candidate will join a multicultural faculty and deliver a rigorous mathematics programme that prepares students for the International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for upper‑school students in line with IB and IGCSE standards.
• Foster an inquiry‑driven, student‑centered learning environment that promotes equity and cultural competence.
• Collaborate regularly with content specialists, instructional coaches and fellow teachers to ensure curricular coherence.
• Participate in the school’s professional learning community, reflecting on practice and engaging in continuous development.
• Contribute to the Empower Us Framework by encouraging agency, global citizenship, well‑being, creativity, and collaboration among students.
