Senior Android Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our Mobile Team, which builds and supports a leading global retail platform. You will work on a high‑profile native Android application that ranks among the top in its category, collaborating with a large, distributed group of specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a next‑generation native Android application.
• Contribute to architecture and implementation of new features for a sophisticated mobile portal.
• Integrate third‑party libraries, services, and components.
• Ensure compliance with Android design patterns, coding conventions, and Google Play policies.
• Optimize networking, local data caching, and multitasking performance.
• Collaborate in Agile processes with local and remote team members.
• Mentor less experienced developers and share knowledge across teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Java and Android app components.
• Proficiency with Android developer tools and workflows.
• Familiarity with Google Play Developer Program policies.
• Experience using third‑party libraries and services.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments with mixed on‑site and remote teams.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level) for effective communication.
