About the role

The Fraud Investigations Specialist is responsible for detecting, analyzing, and reporting potential fraudulent activities within the organization. The role focuses on employee behavior related to expenses, working hours, and procurement, ensuring compliance and protecting company assets.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate employee behavior concerning expenses, working hours, and procurement to identify trends or patterns.
• Evaluate, escalate, and document suspected or confirmed fraud and suspicious activities.
• Collect and analyze evidence from internal and external sources to build robust case files.
• Perform detailed analysis of transactions, documentation, communications, and other records to detect key information.
• Provide periodic reports on ongoing investigations and future cases.
• Contribute analytical data to the creation of fraud detection rules.
• Develop tools and processes for information sharing that support investigations.
• Share best practices for auditing and information analysis.
• Assist in creating communication materials and lead trainings to enhance team capabilities.
• Guide case evaluations, recommend next steps, and support complex investigations.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and promote engagement and accountability.
• Produce clear, comprehensive reports while maintaining strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fraud investigation areas such as forensic investigation, travel and expense reimbursements, or procurement.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent is desired.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for sharing sensitive information across organizational levels.
• Demonstrated competencies in communications, management/administration, decision‑making, problem‑solving, and multitasking.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
