Finance Manager (Remote, Full-Time)

About the role

Uproot Clean, a fast‑growing pet‑care consumer brand, is seeking a Finance Manager to own its accounting and financial operations. This fully remote, LATAM‑focused role will partner closely with the VP of Operations to drive accurate reporting, streamline processes, and support data‑driven decision‑making as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle, including month‑end close and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports while ensuring compliance.
• Reduce month‑end close timeline from five to three days by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.
• Build scalable accounting workflows, documentation, and process improvements.
• Manage the bookkeeping team and accounts payable clerk, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Apply landed costs, track product margins, and maintain cost & inventory accounting.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decisions.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and highly organized with a systems‑thinking mindset.
• Comfortable owning the full accounting cycle and driving process improvements.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• 1+ year experience in ecommerce or direct‑to‑consumer finance.
