Staff Accountant (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

The Otte Polo Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support accounting activities across its U.S.‑based portfolio of service companies. This remote position focuses on account reconciliations, month‑end close, financial statement preparation, and the standardisation of accounting processes for multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations across several entities.
• Support month‑end close processes and ensure timely posting.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Help improve and standardise accounting procedures.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams for accurate reporting.
• Support audit and reporting requests as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in account reconciliations or auditing.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Google Sheets proficiency.
