Solution Architect – Microsoft Azure & AI

About the role

EY GDS is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design of end‑to‑end Microsoft‑based solutions that embed advanced AI capabilities. Working within the EY‑Microsoft Alliance Co‑Innovation team, you will translate business outcomes into scalable architectures and guide their evolution from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Define target and reference architectures, ensuring alignment with Microsoft product roadmaps and EY delivery standards.
• Integrate Microsoft AI services such as Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform AI, and Copilot into solution designs.
• Collaborate with Solutions Managers, service lines, and global delivery teams to turn concepts into repeatable assets.
• Coordinate with EY Tech Hubs, Centers of Excellence, and NITRO for incubation, prototyping, and component reuse.
• Monitor Microsoft product updates (e.g., Copilot, Fabric) and advise on maturity and fit‑for‑purpose approaches.
• Champion AI innovation across EY and client teams through workshops and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and governing large‑scale Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI integration within cloud architectures.
• Ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams and align with alliance strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to evangelize AI possibilities to technical and business stakeholders.
