Senior Tax Analyst – Argentina

About the role

The Senior Tax Analyst will support Arla’s tax compliance, reporting and planning activities across Argentina. You will work closely with Finance, Payroll, Legal and external advisors to ensure accurate tax filings, manage audits and drive efficiency initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit direct and indirect tax returns on time, guaranteeing full regulatory compliance.
• Support corporate tax reporting, including provisions, calculations, forecasts, reconciliations and year‑end close.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, evaluate business impact and ensure ongoing compliance with local, state and federal rules.
• Manage tax audits and maintain relationships with tax authorities, providing accurate records and documentation.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal and external advisors to deliver tax projects, improve processes and increase tax efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, Tax Specialist or equivalent) is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance, tax accounting or corporate taxation, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate tax, VAT/GST, withholding taxes and related regulations.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
• Familiarity with tax reporting and compliance software.
