Senior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑enabled solutions for regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, and fintech. You will lead client conversations, validate product decisions before any code is written, and ship reliably within a structured delivery framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client‑facing discovery calls, sprint reviews, roadmap discussions and demos.
• Evaluate and pressure‑test product decisions before implementation.
• Scope and deliver work within a structured delivery framework tied to defined business outcomes.
• Build full‑stack applications using TypeScript/JavaScript, Node, React and Next.js.
• Write and maintain BDD test suites with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Integrate daily with the Anthropic API and Claude Code, including structured outputs, tool use and agent workflows.
• Manage client relationships proactively with clear communication and zero surprises.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1) or equivalent.
• Deep experience with production‑grade TypeScript/JavaScript architecture and strong opinions on runtime trade‑offs and type safety.
• Extensive AWS experience (Azure or GCP are not substitutes).
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs: function calling, streaming, structured outputs and prompt engineering.
• Comfortable leading client calls, demos and roadmap discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to context‑switch across multiple client projects and technology stacks simultaneously.
• Disciplined adherence to structured delivery frameworks, PR hygiene and documentation.
• Full‑time dedication; concurrent formal employment is not compatible.
• Based anywhere in the Americas and available from 9:00 am Eastern time.
