Senior Procurement Buyer – Process Innovation

About the role

IBM Finance & Operations is looking for a Senior Procurement Buyer to lead process innovation within its Procurement BPO team. You will combine analytical expertise with collaboration across functions to enhance efficiency, transparency and value for IBM’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily procurement transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Design, develop and implement process initiatives that align with client strategic and tactical goals.
• Manage vendor relationships, including supplier evaluations, purchasing and supply‑chain coordination.
• Identify and drive operational‑efficiency improvements to reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Apply industry‑specific best practices to deliver cutting‑edge solutions for evolving client needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience with end‑to‑end procurement processes and transactional activities.
• Strong understanding of process best practices and ability to translate them into actionable initiatives.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimisation.
