Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS & Android) – Remote

About the role

We are building a new class of consumer hardware that will transform how people interact with their living spaces. As a Senior Mobile Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end consumer app on both iOS and Android, delivering a seamless experience for discovery, purchase, setup, and daily control.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the architecture, quality, and roadmap for the iOS and Android consumer app.
• Design and ship commerce flows, including checkout and payments (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
• Implement the computer‑vision measurement pipeline: AprilTag detection, pose estimation, camera calibration, multi‑frame fusion, and capture UX.
• Build and maintain BLE/Wi‑Fi connectivity, provisioning, firmware updates, and device control in partnership with firmware teams.
• Set up production infrastructure: CI/CD, crash reporting, analytics, feature flags, and release management.
• Collaborate with design on onboarding, error handling, and consumer‑grade polish.
• Mentor and help grow the mobile team through hiring and technical leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience shipping production consumer mobile apps.
• At least one publicly released app you built or significantly contributed to.
• Deep expertise in one native platform (Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Compose) and working knowledge of the other.
• Experience delivering commerce features such as checkout and payments.
