Senior Media Technology Engineer

About the role

Castlabs is looking for a Senior Media Technology Engineer fluent in Spanish and English to design, build, and evolve digital media platforms. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and streaming media, delivering end‑to‑end solutions for media asset management, VOD, OTT, DRM, and playout.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop streaming, OTT, DRM, and media‑workflow solutions.
• Build backend services and APIs using Python, C#, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Create and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate third‑party systems and media platforms.
• Collaborate directly with customers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support deployments and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with streaming, OTT, DRM, or media workflows.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
