Plant Operator – Process Equipment

About the role

Dow is seeking a Plant Operator to join its Bahia Blanca facility in Argentina. The role involves operating assigned equipment and plant areas, ensuring safe, reliable and optimal performance while contributing to sustainable production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned process equipment according to standard parameters.
• Execute and report operational tasks from a defined task list.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet plant performance targets.
• Generate clear work requisitions that add value.
• Apply problem‑solving methodologies, guides and procedures to resolve process deviations.
• Implement high‑reliability principles: identify trends, anticipate impacts and act proactively.
• Prepare equipment for hand‑over to expert colleagues following EH&S and operational standards.
• Communicate activities, opportunities and issues effectively to support plant communication policies.

Required profile

• Technical industrial degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Completed secondary education.
• Fluent Spanish language skills.
