Part‑time Remote Customer Service Representative – Medical Billing

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time, fully remote Customer Service Representative to assist patients with medical bill negotiations. You will engage with inbound leads, understand each patient’s financial goals, and act as the liaison between patients and hospital or provider billing departments to secure reduced balances or favorable payment terms.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on inbound leads captured through our website and recorded in HubSpot.
• Review and complete patient information within the CRM.
• Call patients to discuss their situation, settlement preferences, or payment plan options.
• Contact hospital and provider billing departments to negotiate on behalf of patients.
• Manage ongoing communication between patients and providers until a resolution is reached.
• Document final outcomes accurately in the CRM and keep all records up‑to‑date.
• Adhere to call guidelines while thinking quickly to move conversations forward.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in customer service, sales, or a call‑center environment.
• Excellent spoken English – clear, confident, and professional.
• Comfortable handling sensitive conversations with patients and billing staff.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail when juggling multiple cases.
• Reliable computer and high‑speed internet connection.

Required skills

• HubSpot (or similar CRM) experience.
