LaTeX Specialist (Spanish – Latin America) – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a LaTeX specialist who is fluent in Spanish (Latin America) to help train large‑scale language models. As a freelance AI trainer you will use your expertise in scientific document preparation to improve the model’s ability to generate and troubleshoot LaTeX content.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with the AI model on realistic LaTeX scenarios, including complex equations, multi‑language documents, Beamer presentations and TikZ graphics.
• Verify formatting accuracy, logical consistency and capture reproducible error traces.
• Document failure modes and suggest enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Test package customization, template development, bibliography management and cross‑referencing workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Professional experience in academic publishing, technical writing or scientific communication.
• Fluency in Spanish (Latin America) and strong metacognitive communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced LaTeX typesetting and mathematical formatting.
• Proficiency with TikZ, Beamer and bibliography management tools.
• Template development, package customization and cross‑referencing techniques.

What we offer

• Hourly rate between $8 and $65, determined by experience and location.
