Know Your Customer (KYC) Associate

About the role

The KYC Associate will join the Client Onboarding team to perform customer due‑diligence and documentation analysis, supporting the approval of new clients and amendments for existing ones. You will work closely with sales, legal, compliance and technology teams to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct KYC and client documentation analysis for new and existing customers.
• Identify and apply regulatory requirements of relevant jurisdictions and internal procedures.
• Study legal and commercial documents to understand client activity, structure and associated risk.
• Execute AML policies and internal procedures in line with local and global standards.
• Interact daily with front‑office sales/bankers to obtain required documents and answer onboarding queries.
• Perform quality‑control checks to ensure clients meet all compliance rules.
• Coordinate pending documentation with internal lines of business.
• Prepare regulatory reports and regional onboarding metrics.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) for daily communication.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a financial institution.
• Experience managing time‑sensitive projects and documentation workflows.
• Leadership experience managing small teams is a plus.
