HR Advisor I

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking an HR Advisor I to provide intermediate‑level support for People Operations. The role involves managing core employee‑lifecycle processes, handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 inquiries, and ensuring compliance across a global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Administer onboarding, off‑boarding, employee records, benefits, and compensation processes.
• Respond to employee and manager questions on HR policies, systems, and procedures; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Monitor HR data for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Support compliance with GDPR, SOX, and local employment regulations.
• Assist international HR operations, including visa/immigration, transfers, and relocation in partnership with Global Mobility.
• Update SOPs, process documentation, and collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partners.
• Analyze HR processes and systems, recommending improvements and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Intermediate‑level experience in HR operations or People Services.
• Strong judgment, initiative, and ability to work independently within established procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees, managers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and data accuracy monitoring.
• Knowledge of GDPR, SOX, and local employment law compliance.
• Understanding of visa/immigration processes and international employee mobility.
