GRC Leader - Governance, Awareness & TPRM

About the role

dLocal is looking for a proactive GRC Leader to drive Governance, Security Awareness, and Third‑Party Risk Management across its fast‑growing global payments business. This senior position reports to the Head of GRC & Cyber Assurance and requires a hands‑on operator who can translate regulatory requirements into practical, day‑to‑day actions.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalize governance by aligning policies with real‑world practices, negotiating controls with security, engineering, and business teams, and tracking adoption.
• Redefine security awareness communication, creating targeted, high‑ROI interventions (including AI‑assisted delivery) that change behavior.
• Build and manage a Security Champions program, recruiting and empowering embedded advocates across engineering and business units.
• Own the global Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) program, assessing and mitigating payment processor risks.

Required profile

• Senior‑level leader with a strong bias for action and ownership.
• Ability to serve as the tactical bridge between compliance requirements and operational reality.
• Measured by tangible change rather than documentation alone.
