Global Financial Reporting and FP&A Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Finance leader with global scope to head a high‑impact FP&A team for our Software Business Unit. The role drives strategic insights, ensures accurate revenue recognition, and partners with senior executives to influence key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly reporting for the Software Business Unit, guaranteeing data accuracy and actionable insights.
• Deliver deep‑dive analytics on contracts and KPIs to improve forecasting and performance.
• Partner with Sales, Billing, and Executive Leadership to optimize revenue recognition and identify growth drivers.
• Identify risks and opportunities in revenue streams, ensuring compliance and timely invoicing.
• Own financial performance reviews and provide strategic commentary for decision‑making.
• Lead forecasting, trend analysis, and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Execute close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly projections and trends (Q/Q, Y/Y).
• Support ad‑hoc requests with a solution‑oriented approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Organizational Sciences, or related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, revenue operations, or business operations.
• Expertise in revenue recognition and compliance.
• MBA or Chartered Accountant/CPA preferred.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including Power Query).
• Financial modeling.
• Data visualization with Power BI.
