Finance Analyst

About the role

The Finance Analyst will join Chevron's Business Support Center in Buenos Aires, supporting multiple business segments with high‑quality financial analysis and accounting expertise. You will leverage technology and critical thinking to drive continuous improvement and help shape the finance function of the future.

Key responsibilities

• Apply accounting fundamentals to operational and month‑end closing activities.
• Provide financial analysis, budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting support.
• Perform account reconciliations, reconciliation analysis, and ensure process efficiencies.
• Support corporate and regulatory reporting, internal controls, and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external customers to deliver finance counsel and consulting.
• Track accountability metrics, scorecards, and tax credit reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Finance or accounting degree preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Adaptability to change and ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive learning attitude.

Required skills

• Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with JDE.
