About the role
Uber’s Argentina Retail Commercial team is looking for a Commercial Team Leader to shape and execute the commercial strategy for the country’s top grocery and retail partners. You will start with a structured ramp‑up to gain deep business insight before taking full responsibility for people management and growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end commercial strategy for Argentina Retail, including pipeline development, negotiations and partnership execution.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers and Account Executives, fostering a high‑performing culture.
- Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with key retail partners, acting as the primary commercial contact.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance and Product to design joint business plans.
- Define, monitor and report on commercial KPIs, pipeline health, revenue performance and market trends.
- Translate data and market insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Support the evolution of processes, structures and best practices as the business scales.
Required profile
- Proven experience in commercial, sales, account management or related business roles.
- Track record managing complex negotiations with enterprise‑level or strategic accounts.
- Experience leading, coaching or developing commercial teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments while balancing strategy and execution.
