Bilingual CPA – Senior Bookkeeping & Financial Operator

About the role

Higher Options seeks a bilingual (English/Spanish) CPA to lead full‑cycle bookkeeping and financial operations for a dynamic U.S. real‑estate group. This remote, full‑time position supports brokerage, investment, and development entities while providing strategic financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities, including brokerage, investment companies, and project‑specific LLCs.
• Maintain GAAP‑compliant accounting, job‑cost tracking, project‑level financials, and consolidated reporting.
• Manage monthly and year‑end close processes, journal entries, and bank/credit‑card reconciliations.
• Track intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations during consolidation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and support executive decision‑making.
• Issue 1099s, ensure W‑9 compliance, and coordinate tax‑filing records with external CPA.
• Keep financial records audit‑ready at all times.
• Build and update rolling cash‑flow forecasts.
• Assist in capital allocation decisions and support quarterly strategic reviews.
• Oversee personal financial tracking and reporting for the CEO, including investment monitoring.

Required profile

• Licensed CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (B2–C1 level) with strong written and verbal communication.
• Highly detail‑oriented, accountable, and organized.
