Trade Finance Analyst

About the role

The Trade Finance Analyst ensures compliance with Argentine regulatory bodies, manages import payment channels, and supports the foreign trade pipeline. The role involves close interaction with banks, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to guarantee timely and compliant foreign currency transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Register export contracts with ARCA and act as the business point of contact for BCRA regulations.
• Monitor import clearance processes, flag potential non‑compliance, and prepare documentation for customs and banks.
• Coordinate with banks for payments, access to the Official Foreign Exchange Market, and request financing (Fideimpo) for imports.
• Provide periodic compliance updates to management and keep SECOEXPO records current.
• Participate in the analysis and automation of financial reports using AI tools and maintain departmental procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in trade finance or similar positions.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of Oracle (preferred).
