Senior Accountant (US GAAP Expert)

About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our distributed global team and play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity as we continue to scale our premium services across North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP standards.
• Ensure full compliance with international accounting regulations and reporting requirements.
• Perform complex general ledger activities, including meticulous reconciliations and journal entries.
• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cash flows, manage budgets, and contribute to the development of robust accounting policies and procedures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors to ensure timely and successful audit completions.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience; expertise in real estate accounting is a significant advantage.
• Proven track record of working with US GAAP and international accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within a remote, distributed team environment.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this global role.
