Pre-Litigation Case Manager

About the role

We are looking for a remote Pre‑Litigation Case Manager to oversee personal injury cases from intake through settlement. The role demands strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters in a fast‑paced legal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the progress of pre‑litigation personal injury cases, ensuring timely follow‑ups and resolutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
• Obtain and track medical records, bills, and treatment progress, coordinating with providers.
• Communicate with insurance companies, draft demand letters, and support settlement negotiations.
• Prepare legal documents such as demand letters, medical chronologies, and case summaries.
• Organize case files, including police reports, witness statements, and medical records.
• Assist attorneys in settlement negotiations and document preparation.
• Maintain compliance with legal procedures, court deadlines, and case milestones.
• Generate case status reports and update tracking systems.
• Provide ad‑hoc administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in personal injury pre‑litigation case management or a similar legal role.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law and legal procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Two professional references and a recent criminal background check (within 60 days).
• Completion of intake paperwork, including a valid tax identification number, before onboarding.

• Microsoft Office Suite.
