Patient Reimbursement Coordinator (Argentina Based)

About the role

The Patient Reimbursement Coordinator supports clinical trial participants in Argentina by managing travel logistics and reimbursement processing, ensuring a smooth and compassionate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage travel logistics and reimbursement processing for patients in assigned clinical trial projects.
• Collaborate with PCS Project Managers, Patient Concierge Services Manager, and internal teams to implement patient support services.
• Set up new projects, including mailbox creation, portal access, SharePoint folders, and study‑specific documentation.
• Validate patient enrolment information and approve access to digital platforms such as PatientGO®.
• Serve as primary contact for patient requests via app, email, or phone, providing timely responses.
• Coordinate flight, train, accommodation, or ground transport bookings using approved systems.
• Review and verify reimbursement requests for compliance with study policies.
• Approve, reject, or escalate reimbursement submissions based on criteria and internal policies.
• Communicate logistics and reimbursement updates to patients or caregivers.
• Liaise with clinical sites to resolve travel and reimbursement issues.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation in real time.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, caregivers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with GCP, data protection regulations, and company SOPs.

Required skills

• Experience with travel booking systems and approved travel providers.
• Familiarity with patient portal platforms such as PatientGO®.
• Proficiency in SharePoint for document management.
• Knowledge of clinical trial reimbursement policies and procedures.
