Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at Hillsboro Townhouse Apartments. You will ensure the property remains safe, functional, and comfortable for all residents by overseeing repairs, preventive work, and emergency responses.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the maintenance staff and coordinate work schedules.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Schedule and oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.
• Communicate with property management and residents about maintenance issues.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance and supervisory roles, preferably in residential property management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• General building maintenance expertise.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software (a plus).
