HR Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist will manage country‑specific human resources matters for WTW, ensuring compliance with company policies, local legislation and regulatory requirements while fostering an inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Country Leaders to ensure compliance, risk mitigation and alignment with global HR priorities.
• Educate business leaders and managers on HR Service Catalogue responsibilities and Ways of Working.
• Implement consistent employee‑relations practices, coaching managers on performance and disciplinary issues.
• Provide case‑management advice on disciplinary, performance, redundancy, long‑term illness and other ER matters.
• Negotiate exit agreements and coordinate with legal counsel for complex cases.
• Maintain relationships with Works Councils and other representative bodies where applicable.
• Update local HR policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
• Support talent development programs, collective consultations and global HR initiatives that require country‑specific implementation.
• Identify opportunities for standardising HR processes and service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR compliance, employee relations and regulatory requirements in a specific country.
• Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and ability to interpret and apply it.
• Experience advising managers on performance management, disciplinary actions and exit processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, talent advisors and HR Centres of Excellence.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.
