Communication Associate (G-6) – Fixed Term – Buenos Aires

About the role

The Communication Associate supports UNICEF Argentina’s advocacy and communication agenda by assisting in the design, production, and monitoring of digital and media content. Working under the supervision of the Communication Specialist, the role contributes to raising the visibility of children’s rights and influencing public policy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing communication and advocacy strategies, including digital campaigns and online content.
• Support the development and execution of the Digital Strategy, testing new social media tools and platforms.
• Coordinate with programme, fundraising, and external partners to ensure high‑quality communication outputs.
• Provide administrative support for documentation, requests, and reporting related to communication activities.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication initiatives and contribute to reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience in communication, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience working in an international or development context is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
