Associate Relations Country Lead – Southern Cone

About the role

The Associate Relations Country Lead for the Southern Cone will head a remote team of Associate Relations professionals, supporting a cross‑segment, cross‑functional client base within Mars Global Services. This hybrid position, based in Don Torcuato, Buenos Aires, focuses on relationship management, complex issue resolution, and driving continuous improvement in employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead collective bargaining and contract negotiations with local unions.
• Provide coaching and guidance on high‑risk employee issues, ensuring fair and lawful resolutions.
• Oversee investigations, approve separations, and manage severance options in line with local labor laws.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, P&O partners, and senior leadership on organizational change initiatives such as re‑org, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Leverage AR analytics to influence people strategy and develop proactive risk‑mitigation recommendations.
• Manage performance, development, and engagement of the Associate Relations team.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Law or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Employee or Labor Relations, with proven team‑leadership experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of Argentine employment and labor regulations.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish or Portuguese highly preferred.
