Woodworking Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Woodworking Operations Manager to lead our high‑performance millwork manufacturing team in Nassau. The role involves overseeing daily shop activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest craftsmanship standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all daily millshop operations, including production, fabrication, assembly, finishing, and installation.
• Supervise shop supervisors, foremen, carpenters, cabinet makers, machine operators, and support staff.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer deadlines and operational goals.
• Monitor workforce productivity, attendance, performance, and training needs.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and shop resources to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, architects, and clients for successful project execution.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage shop capacity planning, labor allocation, and production forecasting.
• Participate in hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of leadership experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, furniture, or architectural millwork environments.
• Proven track record supervising production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, CNC equipment, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Degree or diploma in Manufacturing Management, Construction Management, Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
