Web Development Manager – Lead Web Team

About the role

We are seeking a Web Development Manager to lead our web team at a fast‑growing US‑based marketing agency. The role combines hands‑on development, conversion‑rate optimisation, project leadership and client communication to deliver high‑performing digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate work for the web development team, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Build and optimise websites on Shopify, WordPress, Webflow and Framer.
• Conduct CRO audits, identify conversion bottlenecks and implement improvements to speed, responsiveness and usability.
• Manage multiple client projects from kickoff to launch, creating timelines, coordinating with designers, marketers and copywriters, and maintaining clear documentation.
• Lead client meetings, explain technical concepts in plain language and maintain strong long‑term relationships.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as Lovable and Google Stitch to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on web development experience.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team.
• Strong understanding of conversion‑rate optimisation and ability to translate audit findings into actionable changes.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and cross‑functional collaboration.
