Web Designer – Marketing & Product Experiences

About the role

Profound is building the marketing platform for the AI era. As a Web Designer you will shape how the brand is experienced online, from the main marketing site to campaign landing pages and product‑adjacent surfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship marketing pages, landing pages, and campaign sites that reflect Profound’s dark, editorial, precise brand.
• Partner closely with front‑end engineers, design engineers, and the brand team to take concepts through build, QA, and launch.
• Work within (and help evolve) the web design system, creating components and respecting constraints.
• Prototype interactions and page‑level motion, delivering specs that hold up in code.
• Own end‑to‑end web design for key initiatives such as homepage updates and feature launch pages.
• Collaborate with brand and product marketing to translate briefs into high‑conversion, on‑brand experiences.
• Continuously audit and refine the existing site for craft and consistency.
• Occasionally extend design work into email, social, and event assets when tied to web campaigns.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who can take a brief from concept to shipped page without hand‑holding.
• Strong command of web design fundamentals—layout, typography, grid, hierarchy—and how they translate to code.
• Portfolio demonstrating high‑craft, shipped websites.
• Fluent in Figma and AI‑assisted design tools; comfortable working close to front‑end engineers.
• Attention to detail on typography, spacing, rhythm, and overall consistency.
• Ability to move fast and deliver high‑quality work on short timelines.
• Versatile generalist comfortable with both marketing landing pages and product‑adjacent surfaces.
• Interest in experimenting with AI and new design tools to accelerate work.
