Virtualization Technician – Remote (Argentina)

About the role

The Theatre Server Virtualization Technician will support the rollout, configuration, and maintenance of virtualized server environments across multiple Regal theatre locations. This contract position is fully remote (Argentina) and requires advanced English communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and validate new server hardware and virtualization platforms in theatre environments.
• Assist with large‑scale deployment of virtualized infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Perform system testing, verification, and quality‑assurance activities during roll‑out.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, operating system, and network issues.
• Monitor performance, ensure uptime, and provide ongoing operational support.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, project managers, and third‑party vendors.
• Help develop best practices and standards for virtualization in distributed environments.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with server hardware and virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, and network layers.
• Ability to work independently in field‑based or remote environments.
• Advanced English communication skills.
