Traffic Monitoring Associate

About the role

The Traffic Monitoring Associate will support dLocal’s Payment Monitoring Team by overseeing the quality, compliance and operational health of payment and financial flows across products, markets and processors. This role blends operations, analytics and governance to build scalable, reliable controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor payment and financial flows across multiple systems, flagging deviations from expected routing, operational logic or compliance requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the master view of flow routings, data fields and monitoring logic across products, markets and processors.
• Investigate misalignments between data sources and real‑world transaction behavior, quantify impact and isolate root causes.
• Partner with Operations, Regulatory, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Product and other teams to follow up on issues and support remediation.
• Prepare recurring reports, analyses and concise written updates for stakeholders.
• Help define monitoring rules, control logic, escalation paths and operating playbooks.
• Build and improve dashboards, checks and reporting routines to increase visibility and reduce manual work.
• Identify automation opportunities for repetitive monitoring, reconciliation and reporting tasks.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in operations, payments, financial services, risk, compliance, treasury, analytics or a related role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to reconcile information from multiple sources and clearly structure findings.
• Detail‑oriented operations mindset, comfortable with recurring controls, issue follow‑up and disciplined processes.
• High ownership, curiosity and a bias toward process improvement and automation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) – optional.
• SQL knowledge – optional.
