Technology Service Engineer – GlobalLink

About the role

The GlobalLink Technology Services Engineering team at TransPerfect is looking for a Technology Service Engineer to provide expert technical assistance for the GlobalLink suite of products. You will work closely with internal teams and customers, ensuring smooth operation and rapid resolution of issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an advanced understanding of GlobalLink technologies.
• Monitor and respond to user queries through the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to GlobalLink products.
• Manage and generate licenses for selected GlobalLink applications.
• Collaborate with development teams and product owners to report bugs and track issues.
• Document issues internally using existing templates for future reference.
• Post and maintain information on the intranet regarding customer requirements and support procedures.
• Train and guide less experienced colleagues on GlobalLink and related applications.
• Assist in creating training materials for new and existing software and procedures.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Required profile

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to promptly answer support-related emails, phone calls, and other electronic communications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and organized.
• Capacity to self‑learn new technologies from documentation, e‑learning, and simulated test scenarios.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in technical support and using bug‑reporting tools to identify, document, and track issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
