Tax Compliance Analyst – US & Canada

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Tax Compliance Analyst (Associate) to support U.S. and Canadian tax compliance activities from its Global Business Center in Buenos Aires. The role blends technical tax knowledge, financial analysis, and process improvement, with a strong emphasis on leveraging new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. and Canadian tax returns.
• Analyze business transactions to determine appropriate tax treatment.
• Calculate and process tax payments.
• Conduct account reconciliations and follow up on open items.
• Apply innovative technologies to improve tax processes.
• Perform audit activities to ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams on compliance matters and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (or within 4 months of graduation).
• Advanced English proficiency (fluent).
• Solid understanding of accounting and tax principles.
• Strong analytical abilities.

Required skills
