Tactical Sourcing Analyst

About the role

The Tactical Sourcing Analyst will manage tactical sourcing and procurement activities across Argentina, Colombia, and Uruguay. You will ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services while supporting MetLife’s broader procurement strategy and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tactical sourcing processes (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, competitive bidding) for purchases between USD 3,000 and USD 25,000.
• Partner with internal stakeholders as a trusted advisor to align procurement with business needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers using structured assessment methods.
• Analyze commercial and technical proposals and recommend optimal sourcing solutions.
• Develop and implement cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service requirements.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and support ongoing relationship management.
• Collaborate with Legal, Contracts, Procurement Operations, and business units on contract creation, renewal, and compliance.
• Execute sourcing activities with corporate procurement tools and support e‑auctions when needed.
• Track, validate, and report procurement savings and sourcing outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies, procedures, and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing or strategic sourcing.
• Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and decision support.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑driven mindset.
• Effective negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work with urgency, adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple initiatives.
• Proactive, collaborative and customer‑focused attitude.
