Supply Chain Head (Argentina)

About the role

The Supply Chain Head will lead all local supply chain activities for Novartis in Argentina, ensuring efficient product supply, warehousing, distribution and new product launches. The role aligns local processes with global policies and drives continuous improvement across customs clearance, demand planning and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive process changes and operational improvements as process champion or project lead.
• Liaise with Finance, DRA, QA and other functions to optimise cross‑functional processes.
• Support and participate in all product launch activities in the country or cluster.
• Ensure high‑quality planning (sales forecasting, demand and launch planning) across affiliates and supply sites.
• Represent supply chain in local S&BP meetings with CPO and supply sites.
• Select, train, develop and coach SCM associates to build a high‑potential talent pipeline.

Required profile

• University degree with 6‑8 years of leadership experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse or customer service within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Advanced people‑management skills and ability to work with local and global stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP HANA.
• Experience with Kinaxis or similar supply‑chain planning tools.
• APICS CS‑CPM, CS‑PS or equivalent certification.
