Software Engineering Manager

About the role

SuperSummary is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a fully remote, global engineering team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will own delivery quality, team growth, and close collaboration with Product and Design to ship the right features at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the performance, delivery, and career development of each engineer on the team.
• Conduct regular feedback cycles, set growth plans, and recognize outstanding contributions.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the design and implementation of new features, ensuring cost‑efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Oversee technical decisions, architecture, and long‑term engineering standards.
• Partner with senior engineers to identify and implement technical improvements.
• Maintain team infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and performance.
• Champion best practices for testing, deployment, and developer experience.

• Ability to balance hands‑on technical involvement with strategic leadership.
