Software Engineer - Console

About the role

XBOW is building an AI‑powered platform that discovers, validates and exploits software vulnerabilities. We are looking for a Software Engineer – Console to design and implement end‑to‑end features across the stack, from React front‑ends to Kotlin and Go backend services deployed on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build full‑stack systems that integrate frontend and backend seamlessly.
• Develop scalable APIs and backend services using TypeScript, Kotlin and Go.
• Deploy, operate and monitor services on AWS and other cloud providers.
• Own problems end‑to‑end, from design through production support.
• Navigate ambiguity and help define both what and how we build.
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers, security researchers and other engineers.

Required profile

• Experience building and operating full‑stack systems.
• Proficiency with TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL).
• Strong backend development experience (Node.js, Kotlin, Go or similar).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work with incomplete information.
• Clear communicator who values simplicity.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, early‑stage startup environment.
