Social Media Coordinator and Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator and Strategist to join a fast‑paced, fully remote digital media team. Based in Argentina, you will manage daily content across major platforms, ensure timely publishing, and help shape the overall social strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish daily posts on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including breaking news, evergreen, and high‑performing recirculated content.
• Coordinate with social media and editorial teams to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and on‑time delivery.
• Adapt publishing plans quickly in response to breaking news, trending topics, or platform changes.
• Write engaging captions and copy that reflect the brand voice and encourage interaction.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to improve reach and engagement.
• Learn and use scheduling, media library, and content management tools for tagging and organizing assets.
• Support broader strategy by identifying opportunities to optimize publishing practices.
• Maintain flexible working hours when major events or breaking news require additional coverage.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for and familiarity with major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple publishing tasks in a fast‑moving environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and the capacity to craft concise, engaging social copy.
• Quick learner of new software, scheduling platforms, and evolving social media practices.
• Comfortable adapting work schedules for breaking news or special events.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote, desktop‑based setting.
