SEO Backlink Expert – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Backlink Expert to join the off‑site SEO team of a digital marketing agency that serves medical and dental clients. The role focuses on acquiring high‑quality, white‑hat backlinks and brand mentions that boost organic visibility for healthcare businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Secure high‑quality backlinks and brand mentions on authoritative, traffic‑rich websites.
• Conduct outreach to publishers, editors, bloggers, and website owners to build long‑term relationships.
• Execute targeted outreach campaigns for editorial placements, resource pages, guides, and comparison pages.
• Negotiate placement opportunities, pricing, and partnership terms with publishers.
• Evaluate websites for relevance, authority, traffic quality, indexing, and editorial standards.
• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align link‑building efforts with overall organic growth strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, placements, and campaign performance for reporting.
• Stay up‑to‑date with white‑hat link‑building best practices and industry trends.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in link building, blogger outreach, digital PR, or editorial outreach.
• Proven track record of securing high‑quality, white‑hat backlinks through manual outreach.
• Experience working in a digital marketing agency, preferably serving U.S. clients.
• Experience in the healthcare niche is a strong plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Search Atlas, and Screaming Frog.

What we offer

• Fully remote work (preferred locations: Latin America & South Africa).
• Working hours: 9 am – 5 pm MST.
• Salary: USD 1,200 – 1,700 per month plus performance bonuses.
• 9 floating holidays.
