Senior/Semi-Senior WordPress Developer & Web Publisher

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Web Developer to own the development, publishing, and optimisation of client websites, primarily on WordPress and Shopify. The role blends front‑end development, CMS page building, SEO troubleshooting, and analytics/tracking setup while collaborating closely with content strategists and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain WordPress sites using ACF, custom templates, theme modifications, and page builders such as Elementor Pro, WPBakery, and Divi.
• Build and maintain Shopify collections, custom pages, and theme changes using JSON and Liquid.
• Transform Google Docs and content outlines into clean, conversion‑optimised web pages with proper headings, CTAs, and media.
• Apply on‑page SEO best practices and use tools like Google Lighthouse, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs to resolve technical SEO issues.
• Assist in configuring tracking setups in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, implementing and validating event tracking.
• Conduct quality assurance testing across devices and browsers to ensure consistent user experience.
• Work in various CMS environments, including Headless WordPress, Webflow, and Framer, following established workflows.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on WordPress development experience (ACF, custom templates, page builders).
• 1+ year of Shopify development experience with JSON and Liquid.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills plus basic JavaScript for front‑end interactions.
• Demonstrated portfolio of live sites and ability to discuss contributions.
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Lighthouse fundamentals.
• English proficiency at C1 level for communication with an international team.
