Senior US Accountant (Remote, Argentina)

About the role

We are looking for a senior accountant to join US finance teams while working remotely from Argentina. You will be fully responsible for the month‑end and year‑end close under US GAAP, delivering accurate financial statements to US‑based stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Prepare, review and post journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
• Support financial reporting directly for US stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the close cycle.
• Collaborate with junior accountants and review their work as needed.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of accounting experience with full ownership of close cycles.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Comfortable working with a US time‑zone overlap.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
