Senior Solutions Architect, Technology

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to help customers design and migrate complex workloads to the cloud. You will act as a trusted advisor, linking AWS technology to measurable business value for organizations of all sizes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, building relationships with senior stakeholders to influence their cloud adoption strategy and technology direction.
• Lead end‑to‑end solution design for complex workloads, making architectural trade‑offs across performance, reliability, security, and cost.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, professional services, support, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive technical solutions aligned to customer business outcomes.
• Develop and deliver technical content (reference architectures, design patterns, presentations) and represent AWS as a thought leader at industry events and customer engagements.
• Mentor and develop other Solutions Architects while translating customer feedback into actionable product and service improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
