Senior Software Engineer, Integrated Workflows

About the role

The Integrated Workflows team builds the platform that connects Mural to the tools teams use daily. As a Senior Software Engineer you will own key parts of this integration ecosystem, delivering reliable and secure connectors that become core to customers' workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain two‑way sync integrations with systems of record such as Jira, Linear, Asana and others.
• Develop integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, Office), video conferencing platforms and notification services like Slack.
• Own the integration platform’s shared frameworks, services and patterns used by other Mural teams.
• Manage content pathways including import panels, third‑party image APIs, file uploads, PDF conversion and export mechanisms.
• Maintain the public API, ensuring backward compatibility and supporting external developers.
• Lead end‑to‑end projects from research and design through release and iteration, emphasizing quality, performance, reliability and security.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building large‑scale production software in an agile environment.
• Strong track record of designing scalable, high‑performance systems.
• Outcome‑oriented mindset with interest in AI‑driven development practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to lead technical discussions and navigate trade‑offs.
