Senior Python Backend & ML Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Python backend developer with strong machine‑learning expertise to help build and scale an AI‑powered platform used across multiple industries, including healthcare. You will design, develop, and operate backend services, LLM workflows, and MLOps pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable FastAPI micro‑services, async APIs, and data pipelines.
• Implement MLOps processes with MLflow, model versioning, drift detection, and A/B testing.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI, GPT‑4 Vision and other LLM providers with robust error handling.
• Build and monitor LLM observability using tools like Langfuse.
• Design multi‑tenant architectures, cost‑optimization strategies, and secure data isolation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of Python development and 2+ years with production LLM systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

• LLM frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face
• Vector databases: Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma
• MLOps tools: MLflow, Langfuse
• Azure services (OpenAI, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Container Registry)
• SQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have)
