Senior Project Manager – Mining Projects (San Juan, Argentina)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major copper mining and industrial infrastructure projects in San Juan, Argentina. The role focuses on end‑to‑end project execution, from development through construction and commissioning, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of mining and infrastructure projects, managing all phases from development to commissioning.
• Control scope, schedule, budget, risks and overall delivery performance.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and operational interfaces.
• Oversee contractors, construction management and on‑site activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Maintain client relationships, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
• Support commercial, contractual and strategic project decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in mining projects, industrial infrastructure, EPC/EPCM environments.
• Proven experience in copper mining, heap leaching platforms, leach pads, mining process facilities and chemical treatment plants.
• Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining or related).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
