Senior Project Manager – Global Information Security Programs

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, global information security initiatives. The role connects strategy to execution, coordinating cross‑functional teams to reduce enterprise risk while delivering business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global information security programs from initiation to delivery, managing scope, milestones, risks, budgets and outcomes.
• Translate security objectives into execution plans that deliver measurable benefits and risk reduction.
• Coordinate distributed teams across Information Security, Enterprise Technology, Client Technology, Member Firms, vendors and contractors.
• Drive governance, status reporting, issue escalation and decision‑making with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies and RAID items using tools such as MS Project or Azure DevOps.
• Identify risks, interdependencies and resource constraints, creating pragmatic mitigation plans.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment, resolve conflicts and keep teams focused on shared outcomes.
• Mentor and coach project team members, fostering accountability and quality delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex global information security, technology or risk programs.
• Strong understanding of security technologies (cloud, network, endpoint, messaging, data security) and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Ability to lead without direct authority, influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent executive communication skills, simplifying technical topics for non‑technical audiences.
• Experience managing project plans, budgets, risks and executive reporting.
