Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Netrix Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to maintain and administer client computer networks. You will work closely with users to identify issues, implement solutions, and ensure network reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and configurations.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and regular data backups.
• Implement and monitor network security measures to protect data and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Monitor network performance and adjust settings as needed.
• Collaborate with network users to address existing system issues.
• Operate master consoles for real‑time network monitoring.
• Coordinate network access and usage across sites.
• Provide detailed recommendations for hardware and software selection.
• Travel to client sites and work flexible shifts when required.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with one or more platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, Check Point, Ubiquiti, HP, Dell, Aruba, Arista, VMware/Velocloud, SilverPeak or Meraki.
• CCNA routing/switching certification or equivalent vendor certification preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, firmware and transport protocols.
• Ability to design accurate network diagrams and documentation.
• Self‑starter capable of learning new technologies quickly and working with all organizational levels.
